Hawker Hart K6492, 10 FTS, RAF Ternhill: Written off (destroyed) 13/5/37 when crashed during circuit training, RAF Tern Hill, Shropshire. Of the crew of two, one - Acting Pilot Officer Ormond Graham Thomson (aged 19) - died 19.5.37 of injuries sustained. The other crew member - Sgt Charles Frederick Christopher Ridout - was unhurt

Interesting perspective on this incident in the November 1983 copy of Aeroplane Monthly - The incident nor crew not stated but date, location and circumstances match - The recollections of author James Henry Read #39682 say trainee pilot (not named) died shortly after with a broken back - but it was 6 days later - not detailing anything more here though due to the nature of the report
