LAC George W. LEE - 1305357 - their respective Graves Registration Report Forms confirm their unit as 8 A.G.S.

AC2 Herbert W. NEWSON - 1460545 - the ANational Probate Calendar records that he died at R.A.F. Station Sick Quarters, Skegness.

With reference to Jacob's. He was killed in an 'Airscrew accident'. Looks like he walked into the blades of X3171 when it was running up.

I was involved in the dig of X3171 at it's crash site in Northumberland. It was involved in another incident when the tail gunner, Sgt Robert Duff Bijur (RCAF) mysteriously vanished during a training exercise. Looks like he took to his parachute and was never seen again.

I suggest the aircraft was more likely to be X9685, which crashed at Luqa, as D9685 would have been an aircraft from WW1
