Thanks Al & Dennis.
Was the "New Zealand Farm" in Scotland ?

Henk.
George William Lee age 27 is in the Sutherland area, Golspie district. I wonder if that is the same man at all
Norman Lamb age 26 is in Ross and Cromarthy, Rosskeen district. I wonder if he is realted to the London that crashed there some days prior?
I can;t see the details of either man as I've no credits.

Henk,
New Zealand Farm is (was?) a tactical airstrip within SPPTA (Salisbury Plain Practical Training Area). Many of us, in the days when the UK Army 3 Div, and RAF 38 Group, ruled the world have spent many hours/days becoming exceptionally uncomfortable (especially in winter) near New Zealand Farm. The memory of these days was only made better when one was promoted to Exercise Directing Staff (the dreaded Distaff). Then one could sit in a nice warm tent and devise even more devious ways of making other people extremely uncomfortable!!!
I rest my case!!

We might not know - but we might know who does!
Thanks friends for all additional info.

Although the death of Norman Lamb is registered at Rosskeen his body was taken from the water off Brora, Sutherland, which is a long way from Rosskeen. His address is given as RAF, Evanton, which is in the Rosskeen district. Cause of death was asphyxia by drowning. No mention of an aircraft accident.
