    does anyone know anything about this place
    where was it
    what did they learn there
    what did it look like
    are there any pictures

    i searched the web but not much came up on the search

    Ray Sturtivant's "Flying Training And Support Units":

    Formed 28.12.39 in No.20 Group at MORECAMBE; 22.3.40 under a reorganisation of SoTTs undertook courses for Flight Mechanics and Flight Riggers; Closed 17.5.42.
    Reformed 1.12.59 in No.24 Group at NEWTON; 29.12.73 to HQ Training Command on disbandment of No.24 Group. Disbanded 17.5.74.

    SoTTs means "Schools of Technical Training" (plural).
