    Has anyone got details of P/O A.H. O'Brien, I believe he flew with 1 PRU.

    van driver in civilian life
    enlisted RNZAF at Levin as Airman Pilot under training 29 Sep 40
    graduated as pilot in NZ
    embarked 'Awatea' for UK and attachment to RAF 29 Apr 41
    commissioned 13 Feb 42
    flew with 681 Sqn in Far East c.1943-1944
    Reserve 11 Jun 44
    Died 1977 (prior 27 Apr) and is buried at Whangarei and was an insurance rep at time of death, aged 58
