Oxford I - V3435 - 1 (C)OTU - spun into ground Todhills, 4 miles N of Carlisle (already as a casualty on this a/c: Sgt [WOp/Ag] John G. WALLACE - 653005).

Browning didn't come up on the register.

apologies, his name is mis-spelt in the original source; Air Crashes in the Lake District' , should be 'McAnany'
