    Default Flight Lieutenant NATR Cowley

    Hi Guys,

I'm looking for more information regarding a relative of mine. I have obtained the following from the Commonwealth war graves website:

Name: COWLEY, NATHANIEL ALBERT T. RUMBALL
    Initials: N A T R
    Nationality: United Kingdom
    Rank: Flight Lieutenant
Regiment/Service: Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve
    Unit Text: 524 Sqdn.
    Date of Death: 26/11/1944
    Service No: 122048
    Casualty Type: Commonwealth War Dead
    Grave/Memorial Reference: Panel 202.
    Memorial: RUNNYMEDE MEMORIAL

I understand he was operating from RAF Langham for Coastal Command in a Wellington, but would like to know more?

    Any help greatly appreciated.

    Hi,

Would you have any additional information regarding crew? who was pilot/navigator etc? I'm really struggling to find much on 524 Sqn.

    Kind regards
