Cpl David C. SIMPSON - 967690 (listed in 'They Shall Grow Not Old' [Allison] on page 696 being a Sergeant [Pilot] of 59 Sqn and in 'Canadians in the RAF' [Allison] page 190 "In No.59 until posted to South Africa"), hailed from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada.
What was his posting in South Africa and what caused that he was killed in action 16-10-1941. He lies buried King Town Cemetery, Capetown. ("Simpson's Lake" in Saskatchewan is named after him).
