The pilot of the catapult plane helped my uncle launch his lifeboat - and presumably survived.

aerodrome from Cheltenham ran into the rear of a stationary lorry and bust into flames, Three women of N.A A.F.I were amongst the survivors. The dead have not been identified as yet
