I was concerned that posting this next batch of answers from the F1180s would have put Henk under too much pressure to update after his request to remove his user name.

I now post them to contine his legacy on RAF Commands.

F1180 gives Proctor R7530 as crashing killing 2 at Sudbrook, Lincolnshire. Pilot named as Sgt J M Bell, 89593

I would pencil in Savin as possible second fatality.

there is a 41 yr old J M Bell in Grantham & Kesteven district, Lincs alright, listed KOAS in Jan 22nd flight magazine.
He is on the same page as Thomson C D who you confirmed on Oxford AB653 on the 21st October in that days thread.

Savin was in Stamford district. No sign of Savin in that Casualty list however.

Bell is Sgt J M F Bell 89593 per CWGC.

Hi Ross

From another source I have the second fatality in R7530 as AC1 Stanislaw ORLIKOWSKI so Savin doesn't seem to be connected

AC1 Lawrence E.K. LAX - 1168242 - the Essex Newsman of November 1st 1941 reported the following:

DISPATCH RIDER KILLED
L.A.C. Lawrence Lax, R.A.F., of College Hill, Hereford, was accidentally killed in a collision between his motor-cycle, which he rode as a dispatch rider, and a stationary lorry, at Potter Street.
