Default Mid Air Collision between two Oxfords

I am trying to find out some details, of what could have been two Oxfords that collided in mid air and crashed near to Kimpton in Hampshire. I believe both were painted yellow. Unfortunately both crews died. This would have been during WW11. Not much to go on I know, but I am in contact with a gentleman who witnessed this accident and would like to know more. If it helps Kimpton is very close to the Airfields at Thruxton, Boscombe Down and Andover to name but a few. A needle in a hay stack? Maybe.. Many thanks

On 04-Jul-44 V3532 of 7FIS collided with X6872 during formation practice and spun into ground. It would appear that X6872 was repaired

    Have location as Kimpton
