    Default Ac1 E.w. Marsh - 627700

    AC1 Ernest W. MARSH - 627700 - died/was killed 30-10-1941 as RAF in Canada in an accident at Debert, Nova Scotia. His remains however now rest UK.171 (Penrith, Cumberland), and may have been repatriated post was what was very unusual.
    Looking for more info on accident, unit, first burial and repatriation.

    GRO has this man at 31 OTU at time of death.

    31 OTU was operating Hudsons Mk. V's in the AM serial range on that date at Derbert. Here are two candidates: AM895 and AM896, Cat. A on 23 October 1941.

    the rest of my Hudson data appears to have gone away in my hard drive crash last summer.
