    ACW2 Phyllis A. BURNHAM - 894543 - the Western Daily Press of November 13th 1941 reported the following:

    A verdict of "Accidental death" was returned at an inquest at Chippenham on Phyllis Burnham (21), who died from injuries she received at Ditteridge, Box, on Saturday evening. She has alighted from a bus, when she was knocked down by the vehicle, which had begun to reverse.


    LAC (Ag u/t) Albert J. SEARLE - 1271714 - the Graves Registration Report Form lists his unit as 8 A.G.S. He's in the Statutory Deaths Register on the Scotland People's website, died at approx. 9.00 a.m, Cromarty Firth, death due to asphyxia by drowning. This would make him one of the crew of Botha Botha L6451 - see post #5

    AC2 Norman C. RUTHERFORD - 1374348 - the Dundee Evening Telegraph of November 14th 1941 carrie the following annoucement:

    RUTHERFORD - suddenly, at Margate, during Nov., Norman Cockburn Rutherford, R.A.F., dearly beloved husband of Evelyn Doig, 8, Arthurstone Terrace, and son of Mr. A. Rutherford and the late Mrs. Rutherford, Dundee.
