F/O Waterman PF J/15923 RCAF 65 Sqdn became a POW when he crashed with his Spitfire MA-847 on January 2 1944. Does somebody has an idea where the aircraft came down ?

    Hi Alain
This is not conclusive but 2nd TAF Vol 1 has this loss on 3/1/44 so does Fighter Command Losses. 65 Sqn lost 2 a/c that day, MA835, F Sgt W T Whitmore, KIA and MA 847, F/O P F Waterman POW. neither book has the crash sites but they were engaged on a Ranger to Brussels
