    Default Sgt Ronald Leslie Jones - 1282497 - Died 3/8/43 - 157 Sqd - Hanover War Cem

    Hi everyone,

Could someone please provide me with loss information on the above airmen. I have some information as in the following but need confirmation that it is correct:-

    Base; Hunsden

Aircraft; Mosquito (which variant I'm not sure of)

    Code; RS-

I need the Serial No and the possible crashsite to complete my request (hoping that the information I have is correct).

    Thanks in anticipation.

    Steve.

He is adjacent to F/O John O P Tanner, 157 Squadron, from Cardiff. Grave 12.F.10

    R L Jones is grave 12.F.11

www.dehavilland.ukf.net/_DH98%20prodn%20list.txt would suggest by searching for the date 3.8.43 that it might be Mosquito HJ820.

The Tony Butler 1943 list also says the same:
    http://www.lesbutler.ip3.co.uk/tony/tonywood.htm

Check RAF & US Fighter Commands - with annotated text. Issue I 1943

    Someone can confirm or otherwise.

    Hi Henk and Dennis,

Many thanks for the replies, I posted this thread before I had chance to check FC Losses at my local library. I sometimes find FC Losses a little hit and miss with entries but nontheless still a useful source of information.

All the best gentlemen and other forum members; have a good day.

    Cheers.

    Steve.
