    Morning folks,

    I was contacted by the grandson of AC1 William Ellis, Nick Ellis. He is seeking any information available about the death of his grandfather. I imagine he may have contacted some of you who posted here separetly.

    I've nothing to help him with except the page of the Flight magazine. I'll point him towards the RAF Museum and AHB etc. Death certificate etc.

    Al, do you have scans of the ORB page?

    No Henk, he found us via that message thread, he has all that information. i'm trying to place him in the direction of original records or other research etc.

    AC1 James SILCOCK - 1078931
    death of Aircraftman James Silcock of 18 Moss Avenue, Rochdale, who collapsed and died whilst on duty at an R.A.F. station in the North of England on Tuesday of last week. He was a member the R.A.F. police.
