    Default Unaccounted airmen - 19-11-1941

What were the places of death registration for following airmen, whose names I couldn't find in the Flight archives:

    AC1 Frederick WELLINGTON - 701203, and
    AC1 Robert H. WHITEHEAD - 853649 - 919 (Balloon) Sqn (Birkenhead, Liverpool).

Oxford I AT478 of 2 AOS flew this day into high ground at Catlands, near Boltongate, Cumberland (already as casualties on this aircraft: P/O A.L. WHITE - 106030, LAC E.E. CLARIDGE - 1375671 and LAC S.H. BINGHAM - 1208877).

Regards and thanks for your help.
    Henk.

23 year old Frederick T Wellington in Forest of Dean District, Gloster
A Frederick T Wellington was born Q3 of 1918 in Westbury on Severn district., Gloster, this district was superceded in 1937 by...Forest of Dean district.

Robert H Whitehead age 39 Bottle district I guess in Lancashire as the Cumbria district of that name was abolished pre war., be is buried in Bootle but is there one or more Bootles? Wiki tells me it is in Merseyside, 4 miles north of Liverpool, Lancashire.

Eric Claridge is Wigton district for reference.

    Hi Henk
For Whitehead I think it is Bootle,Lancashire. It is almost part of Liverpool and his Balloon Sqn was stationed partly in Liverpool, The Sqn was clearly split into 2 to protect the docks among other installations, with Birkenhead docks being opposite Liverpool on the S Side of the River Mersey in Cheshire. If he had died in Birkenhead he would be registered in Wirral district.
    Regards
    Dick
