I don't have anything for these, from the ORBs I have found quite a few accidents on this date but all were non-fatal.
What were the places of death registration for:
Cpl Henry B.P. BURGIN - 292056 - age 41 - died on active service;
F/O Edward G. NEWMAN - 43381 - died on active service, and
Sgt (Obs) Robert O. ROGERS - 979582 - 235 Sqn (Blenheim - Dyce, Aberdeenshire) - died of wounds or injuries received in action.
No proposed aircraft losses for this day.
Regards and thanks for your help.
Henk.

Hi Henk
Burgin, 41, registered at Nottingham
Newman,56, registered at Aldershot, Hampshire. The age ties in with CWGC and he is buried at Brookwood which is in the area.
Rogers is buried at Lerwick and possibly died there

Rogers died of 'penetrating gunshot wound' at Gilbert Bain Hospital, Lerwick.

Thanks friends for your responses. Rogers may have been wounded aboard an aircraft that returned safely to base (probably at an earlier date ?). Only the ORB may tell us what happened.
Regards,
Henk.
