AC2 George W. WHITEHEAD - 1140348 - the Lincolnshire Standard & Boston Guardian of December 6th 1941 reported the following:
FATAL ROAD MISHAP
Boston Serviceman's Tragic Death
Many people on Boston and district wil learn with regret of the death of A.C.2 George William Whitehead, R.A.F., who was knocked down by a lorry. on Friday, near Wolverhampton, and died almost immediately. Aged 32, he leaves a widow and one son.

Leading Aircraftman Percy Andrew (Perce) DYER (1175572). 8.
Died when Wellington Z8720 exploded while being worked on at around 1600 hours. The crew were away from the aircraft but the four ground personnel were killed outright. http://discovery.nationalarchives.go...ils/r/D8411201
P A Dyer died of injuries later.
