    Default Flight Image Archives

Just noted that Flight expanded its AirSpace archive as of January 29 with "100s" of new images.
    Cheers:

Does anyone know how to get hold of copies of the originals of images in some of the wartime issue of Flight? I have tried emailing them numerous times but never got a reply. I am only rally interested in photos that show bombing and firing ranges and range equipment (eg quadrant sights, Hills mirrors, dive screens and camera obscura etc). They have plenty in their online PDF archive and nobody else seems to have copies or originals - or they don't understand my request! I doubt if I could use the photos from the PDF without permission.

The RAFM sent me a photo of a Hills mirror in Heliopolis but so far nothing in this country. The FAAM is difficult to ask general questions of, and I haven't tried the Air Historical Branch as I understand they don't deal with amateurs and besides I think their WW2 files have been passed to TNA anyway.

    Any ideas?
