    Default Hurricane L1625

    Hi Paul

Sorry, I have only just seen your response. Should have checked earlier as I managed to get to Kew last week, and had a peek at 87's ORB. No mention of the incident for 11/11/39 and I didn't spot mention of L1625 at all, though I didn't go back as far as 11/11/38!

Good thinking, Batman, I will check this next time.

    Cheers

    To continue the saga ............

No sign of 87 Squadron loss in 1938 and no record of L1625 on strength of 87 Squadron.

    Obviously an error somewhere.

Briian, thanks for update, logical thinking maybe 85 Sqn and not 87 Sqn, both at Debden in 1938 afterall. And could be a obvious typo...

Could it be the incident attributed on 19-11-38 to 'L1626' of 87 Sqn?
