    Lt. Michael Weizman and crew of 502 Squadron lost 11 February 1942.
    As a result of enemy action or cause unknown?

    Cause:

    After engine failure, aircraft ditched Bay of Biscay.

    F/Lt Michael O. WEIZMANN (note spelling) - 74356 - was a son of the first president of IsraŽl Dr Cham Weizmann. He was lost over Biscay Bay on Whitley Z6831. All crew members on the Runnymede Memorial.

    P/O Kenneth T. REEVES - 67685;
    Sgt Douglas W. SMITH - 650141;
    P/O Peter P. SMITH - 106517, and
    Sgt Alexander WHEELER - 648714.
