    Gents,

Can someone please let me know the dates that G/C McKee and G/C Kyle were base commanders at RAF Marham.

    Hi Smudge
Look at http://www.rafweb.org/Index.htm where you can ,via the menu ,get to Stations. Marham is one that has the CO's listed but the dates are not precise. There are also individual biographies of some CO's incl McKee and Kyle. McKee took over from G/C Evans-Evans in 1941(no day or month given), Kyle took over in 1942-1944, but again no day or month. In his Biography Mc Kee is mentioned as Base Cdr? in 1943. This would make Kyle his subordinate if McKee was Base Cdr at Marham and possibly involve McKee in elevation to Air Commodore. It doesn't look as if Kyle was ever Base Cdr, only Station Cdr.
