    Default A/G Heywood H 281 Squadron

    Hi All,

can anybody tell me what happened to A/G Heywood H of 281 Squadron?
I have been asked by one of his crew mates from a Vickers Warwick BV417. He had heard that maybe A/G Heywood had been lost when an aircraft he was in was shot down off Norway. Can anyone confirm this?

    all the best

    Kevin

    Hi Kevin,

The only entry I have for F/O C H Haywood is BV417. No other note for a later Cat E loss from 281 Sqn.

He does not appear in the CWGC as a casualty.

    Regards
    Ross
