420113 - Unaccounted airmen - 13-1-1942

According to the 17 OTU ORB - 1325835 LAC Beck H. was killed at RAF Warboys on 13 Jan 1942 "whilst on sentry duty was accidently killed by a round of ammunition fired in the gun pit. Verdict - Accidental Death".

I have looked at this again and can confirm Baker's Cross, Holton Heath, Poole, Dorset as the location of the crash of Master T8626 13/01/1942. There is a pub, The Bakers Arms at 195/0955926 near to a crossroads with the A35. The road layout looks a bit different from what it was in 1942 but the fact that the pilot's death is registered at Poole discounts the Wiltshire site.

I’m sure he has some wrong in the far east . C V Windmill 938547 was definitely electrocuted accidentally at RAF seletar . I think , although I’ve not yet found it my jumbled notes for that area, that 938539 G Bamford, is incorrect too and that they have both been caught in a shotgun approach ?
