    Hi Henk,

Also aboard Magister I L5928, 1506162 LAC James McKenzie Martin WAITE. Not on CWGC, so probably survived.

See: NAA: A705 163/88/92 Item Notes.

The 15 EFTS ORB recorded Waite, pupil pilot, as injured.

Henk, regarding Hudson T9368, I have the pilot as being one P/O Grimshaw RAF and he survived. No info on the crew though sadly as yet.

It overshot landing and damaged the undercarriage.

The death of Ditch is recorded as occurring 'on war service' in the calendars of wills now available on ancestry.com. I wonder if it was service related injuries, but death was at his home location, but it does not implicitly state he died in hospital or at home, just 'on war service'.
