Hansford didn't come up on the register and I didn't find him on CWGC

The Lysander was a none fatal accident, the following came from the ORB.

February 5th 1942, “There were three flying accident during the day. No.563762, W/O W.H. Edmond, and instructor, swung off the runway on landing and damaged the aircraft, an Oxford, in hard snow; P/O Oatley, flying a Blenheim aircraft, landed on the aerodrome with undercarriage up after it had failed to lock, and No.1167419 Sgt H. Wallis crashed landed in a Lysander near Tadcaster after engine failure. All these aircraft were considerably damaged,
but in no case was the pilot injured.”

Hi Henk
Another look with Col's spelling for Hansord brought him up on CWGC but not on the register. His family connections incl his wife are in Staines, Middlesex,the area S of Heathrow, so he wasn't taken home for burial, but he still doesn't come up on the register.

his name seems to appaer with matching age in Buchanan district of Stirling, Scotland. I see from Google there is/was a Military hospital there.

Notes:
During WWII, when Buchanan Castle was requisitioned for use as a military hospital, a large number of ancillary buildings and wards were built around the house itself. Following the closure of the hospital, the majority of these buildings were sold and converted into dwelling houses.
