    Hi Henk
    Margaret Salvage,19, registered at Llanelly Glamorgan, S Wales. I would query the rank as 19(18 on CWGC) is rather young for a WAAF to have reached the rank of Sgt
    Ware,27,registered at Wenlock, Shropshire (may be connected to a death at the hospital at Cosford), with the same to be suggested for Joyner,19, also registered at Wenlock
    Will L B Wright, 24, and Pollard,24, registered at Swindon, Wiltshire which is the right area to connect them to the collision at Clyffe Pypard. Any deaths from the accident at Little Somerford would have been registered at Chippenham
    Preston,27, registered at Westmorland South
    Watts,28, registered at Fylde, Lancashire
    Jean D Wright,17, registered at Newark, Nottinghamshire
    Richardson did not come up on the register but I note that CWGC has him as on 700 Sqn FAA and he may have been based outside England and Wales
    Warner does not give any fatalities on either of the Blenheims
    Regards
    Dick

    Can confitm Wright & Pollard in the TMs at Clyffe Pypard but have no idea of who was in which a/c. The crewman on the Defiant at Porthcawl, DE Battle, was injured.

    AC2 Albert J. JOYNER - 1405169; DOAS March 26th magazine scanned as A/C.2 A. J. Jovner
    LAC (Pilot u/t) Roy E.C. POLLARD - 656063; Same KOAS list as Wright, scanned as L.A/C.
    R. E. O. Pollard;

    Cannot find these two
    AC2 William D. PRESTON - 1121223, and
    LAC James S. WATTS - 1380222 - age 28.

    W Hawthorne age 37 is registered in Southport district, Lancashire

    Richardson doesn't seem to be in Scotland. He is likely 707 Sqn RAF regiment I guess, and hence in Ballykelly, Northern Ireland. They were only renumbered 2707 on Feb 1st so likely didn't make it to the records.
