Default S/L Philip Alexander Dey RAAF 402863

    Hello again,
Please could anyone help with the early history of Philip Dey.
After doing his 8 EFTS training in Australia, he moved to Canada to do his SFTS between May/August, 1941. Which unit was this.
He came to the UK in approx. September,1941, dated unknown. He probably went to a Beaufighter OTU (54 OTU?) date unknown and was posted to 456 sqn at Valley.
On 26-6-42 was shot down attempting to intercept a Ju88 in Beaufiighter IIF, T3014. He and his navigator were rescued by HSL.
In June,1943 moved to 276 ASR sqn at Harrowbeer until December, 1943 when he returned to Australia.
He went on to lead 100 RAAF sqn at Tadji, PNG until 16-3-45 when he was MIA in Beaufort VIII, A9/625.
Any help however trivial would be great.
    Thanks,
    Roy
