    Default Spitfire Blackout Block

Serial ER753 was in a black out block, it was not built, per my copy fo Robertsons British Military Aircraft Serials and the http://www.spitfires.ukf.net/production.htm site:

    Might you be after ER758?

    ER758 Vb CBAF M46 9MU 8-10-42 47MU 20-10-42 Empire Day 22-10-42 Gibraltar 9-11-42 Middle East 1-12-42 Takoradi 16-7-43 SOC 8-3-44

Where did you get your serial?

    Hi Dennis,

    Thanks for the reply.

I the serial came from a contact who has a photo of a Spitfire showing the serial ER763 or ER753, couldn't decide which it was. Seems you could have sorted it.

    Regards
    Peter.
