    Default No. 1 CMB Halton 1942

    Hi all,

    I will be very thankful for explanation of this abbreviation.
    From context I suppose it was C...... Medical Board as "my man" was sent there to get permission to fly again after illness.

    TIA

    Hi Pavel

    CMB = Central Medical Board

    You are correct about 'your man' being sent there for clearance to resume flying duties.
