Default Mustang FX931, 14? Feb 1945 pilot details.

Hi, is anyone able to confirm that the pilot of this aircraft, Mustang FX931, which crashed at High Bentham, Yorkshire on 14th Feb 1945 was one Sgt Pawel Struniewski PAF (P.704960) (buried at Barrow in Furness).

No.1 Staff Pilot Training Unit, RAF Station Cark's ORB has the following.., “Crash at High Bentham, Yorks, Mustang aircraft of 61 OTU, Rednal, Salop, pilot (Polish) killed instantaneously"

Maybe there was a Pole killed on the 14th but the closest I can find which may relate to this incident is the chap I name above who died on 15th Feb 45, and therefore not instantaneously.

I've just noticed that the UK National Archives hold the crash investigation which may be worth consulting.

Any assistance greatly appreciated, regards Rich Allenby
