    Default M O Ogier, 2SFTS, 1940/41.

    Guys,

A trainee pilot from 56 Course, 2SFTS between November 1940 and April 1941. Any ideas on what happened to him? I have details of an Ogier, who was killed 12th March 1942 but no other details. Can anyone add anything for me?

    Thanks for your continued help.

    Regards,

    Nick

its an odd surname so I think that that airman must be the chap from 2SFTS.

The 77 Squadron association website lists him on Whitley Z9293

There is a spread sheet on the site, I found it from google search and using Geoff Sullivans website.

Ogier's commisioning information from London Gazette is:

Gazette Issue 35260 published on the 29 August 1941. Page 12 of 64
    Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.
    GENERAL DUTIES BRANCH.
The undermentioned are granted commissions for the duration of hostilities:
    As Pilot Officers on probation.
    Sergeants.
    26th July 1941.
    931400 Michael Owen OGIER (102584).

    He is mentioned briefly here:

    Thanks Dennis.

I have tried contacting the two previous peeps regarding their posts without success. Will keep trying.
