Default Informations on two pilots of 619 Squadron

    Hello,

Could you help to find informations on these two pilots of 619 Squadron shot down on the night of 11/12 April 1944:
    F/L H J Moore of Lancaster EE116 PG-Q and who became POW.

S/L John William Eunson Duncan McGilvray DFC 134533 died at the age of 32,
husband of Margaret Ellen McGilvray of South Kensington,London,
son of John Robert and Alice Maud McGilvray.
Had a half blue for Boxing Edinburgh University.
He was in Lancaster LL784 PG-W.

I would like to contact the relative of these Officers, and F/Lt Moore if still alive.
Thank you for your help .

Alain, with all the sun from Moorea !

    Default Sqdn/Ldr Mc Gilvray

    Hello Alain,

In fact I am try to trace the relatives for Sqdn/Ldr McGilvray for a very long time but without any luck.

Since 1998 I have done a research to the loss of Lancaster LL784(crashed over Hapert,S.E. part of The Netherlands) and got in touch with the relatives of Flight Engineer Sgt Haberfield, Mid Upper gunner Sgt Hillier, Wop P/O Pritchard. Further I got in touch with the relatives of one of the survivors Nav F/O Drake.

What is your interest in both 619 Sqdn pilots and especially in Sqdn/Ldr McGilvray??

    Regards,
    Adrian
