Hi henk
Re Pardow I have this on him
Harry Vincent PARDOW
Aircraftman 2nd Class 1422136
Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve
Died in England on Monday 23 March 1942
Harry was the son of Frank Reynolds and Lily (nee Richmond) Pardow of 84, Lichfield Street, Walsall. His father was a self employed saddler and harness maker and his mother predeceased him.
Harry was married to Gladys Florence Inns at Walsall in late 1929 and resided in the Harden area.
The ‘London Gazette’ reports Harry’s death as ‘died on active service’ rather than ‘killed on active service’ which suggests a death through illness. His death was registered in Walsall.
Harry is buried in St. Michael’s Churchyard, Rushall in Section R. Grave 8. He was 39 years of age when he died.
Thanks Graeme for info on PARDOW. Excuse belated answer due to illness.
Regards,
Henk.
