    Default 20 OTU prang 25/10/43

    Hi All,

Does anyone have any other information into the loss of Wellington HZ137 in which Sgt P A Collins, Sgt M W Hallem, P/O W A White and Sgt L A Rother were killed and Sgt Howson was injured. I have Bill Chorley's book on OTU Volume 7 losses.

    Regards,

    John.

    Default Wellington 25 October 1943

A more precise location is Innes Woods, near Milltown. A/c took off from Milltown 20:32 on night flying practice and crashed 23:47.

Hi, P/O White was my second cousin, I have spent a long time tracing him and finding out how he perished. I know where he is buried, but can anyone tell me more about why this crash occurred??

    Regards
    Mark
