Boston W8333 418S COA at Great Sampford on this day. GS is in the Saffron Walden reg. district so would suggest Warren Wright perhaps involved.

Thanks all for your help.
Malcolm: For future reactions to my threads, please could you also mention the name of the county ? Thanks in advance.
Dave/Col: WARREN-WRIGHT may have been the number four on Boston W8333. In "They Shall Grow Not Old" (Allison) is mentioned for F/Sgt OWEN on page 578:
"Boston aircraft W8333 was carrying general purpose bombs and incendiaries when it crashed just S of the aerodrome at St.Sampford, England. The bomb load exploded on contact also killing Sgt's M.H. BRANDON, C.L. LEWIS-HALL (RAF) AND ONE OTHER RAF MEMBER OF THE CREW".
Regards,
Henk.

Sorry Henk
However, if you go to this link http://www.ukbmd.org.uk/genuki/reg/districts/index.html#top it gives you a complete breakdown of registration districts and where they are.
Malcolm
I know Malcolm, but I've still thousands of names on the unaccounted list and for me it saves quite a lot of time if the county is mentioned together with the place of death registration. So not a matter of laziness ! The way I've to go from today (April 1942) up to the end of 1947 (final registration date CWGC) is long, especially for an old NCO (75) in a less good health.
Best regards,
Henk.
