    Hi,

When you look at http://freespace.virgin.net/paul.hunt3/units/38Sq.html you will find some info on 38 squadro. When you search at google you probably find some more.

About F/O Morrison I assume you already found him at the website of the Commonwealth War Graves commision? He came from Halewood,Lancashire so you could contact the local library to see if they can help you.

    regards Mike

The following entry from my trilogy 'For Your Tomorrow - A record of New Zealanders who have died while serving with the RNZAF and Allied Air Services since 1915 (Volume Two: Fates 1943-1998)' might be of interest?

38 Squadron, RAF (Berka III [Benghazi], Libya - 247 Wing, AHQ Eastern Mediterranean, Middle East)
Wellington XI MP569 - took off at about 1800 and sent a sighting report at 2230. Twenty minutes later signalled an SOS, the bearings indicating a heading towards Turkey. However, nothing further was heard or seen of the Wellington or its six crew, who are commemorated on the Alamein Memorial.
