    Default Unaccounted airmen - 11-4-1942

    What were the places of death registration for:

    A - Killed on active service:
    P/O (Pilot) James P. CONSIDINE - 112289 (RAF from USA).

    B - Died on active service:
    AC2 Ernest A. GREEN - 1528358 - age 37;
    LAC George D. HASTIE - 984768 - age 38, and
    AC1 (Flight: AC2) Ellwood D. RUDD - 1022093.

    C - Not found Flight archives:
    Sgt (Pilot) James S. ROBERTS - 659164.

    D - Also looking for unit and possible cause of death of the following airmen whose names are commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial (probably Hudson AE589, see my thread on Sgt David BAMER ??):
    Sgt Glen M. FOOTNER - 1250025 - Panel 83;
    F/Sgt Robert J. HELSDON - 778387 - Panel 74, and
    Sgt Frederick G. STONER - 1282530 - Panel 94.

    E - Furthermore looking for the place of death registration for:
    S/Ldr Eward C. INGLEFIELD - 37738;
    P/O (Pilot) Charles J.R. BOYCE - 112002, and
    AC2 William GIBLIN - 1526080,
    of 4 Sqn (Clifton, Yorkshire), who probably were killed on DH Rapide Z7263 (ex. G-ADIM) whilst taking off from Doncaster, Yorkshire.

    F - Proposed aircraft losses:
    Botha I - W5134 - 6 FPP - crashed in forced landing Wright's Farm, S.Clarewood, Cumberland ??.
    Hector - K8126 - 2 GTS - flew into ground mile SW of Weston-on-the-Green

    Considine,26, registered at St Asaph, Denbighshire, N Wales
    Green,37, registered at York,at the time considered to be E Yorks, since 1946 W Yorkshire
    Rudd,28, Bucklow, Cheshire
    Inglefield(Edward on the register),25, Boyce,25, and Giblin 21, all registered at Doncaster, W Yorkshire which could connect them to Z7236
    Hastie not on the register but he was a Scot from Edindurgh as were his wife and parents and may have died there
    Roberts,23, registered at Ploughley and Bullington which is right for Weston on the Green and backs up Dave W

    Considine was recorded in the No.57 OTU ORB

    April 11th 1942, P/O J.P. Considine (American) killed in flying accident.

    Considine was in Spitefire P7990 which crashed due to unknown causes at Gronant, Prestatyn, Flintshire.

    Hi Henk
    Backing Dave W again the St Asaph registration area includes Prestatyn and would fit Considine and the Spitfire P7990
