    Default Leopold Heimes passed away

    This morning, Leopold Heimes, who flew as Air Gunner on Blenheim with 235 Sqn Coastal Command during the Battle of Britain and joined as pilot the newly formed 350 (Belgian) Squadron in November 1941, left us today. I had the chance to met him several times.
    Last year, Léopold was honored at the Brussels Air Museum:

    That's very sad news.
    I met him several times over the years and he was a real gent.
    My sympathies to his family.
