Default 219 Sqn Pilot Officer Fuller 24 May 1941

Can anyone help me with details concerning 44713 Pilot Officer Clifford Harry Fuller, RAF, who died on 24 May 1941. All I have is he was married, aged 32 and the incident concerned a small arms accident which took place in Sussex, assumed Tangmere. He is buried in Corfe Mullen Cemetery, Dorset, England. At the time, 219 Sqn were based at RAF Tangmere, Sussex and operating Beaufighter 1F

    Gerry,
Is he in the book "From Dusk Till Dawn"?

    Thank you
    Norman

    Hi Norman,
Yes he is mentioned as a casualty at the rear of the book.
However, having scanned through it for the period of Jan 41 - Jan 42 I can't find any mention of him or any incident.
I do keep contact with several 219 members from that period so will give them a call and see if they can remember him.

Thanks Norman & Gerry. Will follow up this thread as I also pay interest in FULLER's cause of death.
    Regards,
    Henk.

    Hi,
I spoke to Terry Clark this morning and asked him about Fuller.
He cannot recall the incident at all, though he suspects that an accident may have occured in the armoury.
    Sorry I can't offer more.
