    Hello Ray,

Years ago I had dealings with Jack Mayall, very helpful chap. Please contact me off line at awarculus@xtra.co.nz while I see if he is still around.

I had a number of photo's from him but only copied on a Zerox machine as it was in those days!

Will see what I can do for you.
    Cheers,

    Hello Ray and Russ,

I found some gen on the crew but sadly Jack Mayall passed away, here is what I have:-

P/O. C.W.P.Carter. NZ41874 RNZAF POW No.545. Originally from Timaru, South Island. No other information. Could be still be alive.

Jack Mayall NZ404081 RNZAF POW No.435 Passed away 11 June 2006. Trying to contact wife on phone.

F/Sgt. P.N.Howard. NZ391384 RNZAF POW No.419. Originally from Auckland. No other information. Could still be alive.

Sgt.J.L.Coy. NZ403616 RNZAF POW No.402 Originally from Island Bay, Wellington. No other information. Could still be alive.

Sgt.H.Ives. NZ391384 RNZAF POW No. 423. Originally from Port Chalmers, Dunedin, South Island. No other information could still be alive.

It is quite possible that four of the crew could be around as I have a reasonable check in operation to see when anyone passes away.

I have a number of photos and log book extracts I have made on Jack Mayall for Ray.

    Hi Ray
Look at www.feltwell.net.(Unless of course this is where you are at the moment!!) It is the site for Feltwell Village and has an Raf Section in it that covers 75 Sqn's time at the airfield. There are many contributors and several good photos of 75 Sqn a/c and crews, the name Mayall is on the caption for one of them and he is on the crew list for your a/c although it may not be the same man. From the names there ought to be a link to someone with information from that period covering 75's time there with Wellingtons
    Regards
    Dick

    hello,

I think I have Herbert Ives' PoW questionnaire, but not in my home computer. I'll check in a couple of days and will add the details from it, date and place of birth, camps where he was, etc...

    Guy's

    Thanx for the info!
Too bad the veterans have died. THis was the only surviving crew of the 6 planes that came down in my village and I hoped that I could got more information from these guys. I was wondering if their plane survived, how they were captured etc.

But this is already more info than I could find in 6 months.

    Thanx Again.
