    Default 87 Squadron

I am trying to decipher some names in a log book and was wondering if any members might be able to help me.

The flying for the end of August 1941 has been signed off by two men. One seems to be Ian Gleed who I have been able to find out rather a lot about, but the other is a bit of a problem. It seems to be somebody by the name of Forsyth (possibly C R A Forsyth?) who is marked as being the O/C of "A" Flight.

    Any help would be great,

    Johnnie

That would seem to fit. Do any members know if he was ever with 87 Squadron?

    Default Forsyth

According to "Those Other Eagles" he was attached to 87 Sq. from December 1940 until sometime between September and November 1941.
