    Hi All

Can anyone confirm that DAVIDSON, GEORGE LESLIE; Sgt 404904 was flying Spitfire VB, AD543 of No 616 Sqn which flew into the ground near Wansford in Northamptonshire. He is registered in Oundle.

However Franks as this aircraft as being lost the day before on a sweep to Hazebrouk flown by either Plt Off M Lepel-Cointet or E W Strouts. He also has the latter as becoming a POW but CWGC has him being killed?

    Also can anyone confirm

    BRAY, WILLIAM; Sgt 1075896
BROADBENT, ARTHUR; Sgt 1050128 were killed flying in Beaufighter I, T4724 of 2 (C) OTU which flew into high ground near Scarborough, where they are both registered.

    All the best

    Malcolm
