Default Questions about Bomber Command P.O.W.'s

My father Walter Henry Layne was a P.O.W. at Stalag Luft 6 as well as other camps.

In the month of November 1943 he was transferred from Stalag Luft 6 (Heydekrug) to Stalag Luft 3 (North Compound, Sagan) and then back again to Heydekrug, all in the month of November. I would be grateful if forum members could give me an explanation as to why this would happen.

The above link is to a page from my father's Red Cross P.O.W. "Wartime Log."

The entry is by W/O Robert Charles Stevenson Hancock.

My questions are, what is the "Pitopoly" game they argued about, and again why was this W/O along with my father shuttled between Heydekrug and Sagan.

Is it possibly the market trading card game, "Pit"? I used to play it with a friend's family. It is a bit like Monopoly, so I am thinking this was an early or made-up name for it.

That certainly seems like a plausible explanation, thanks.
