    Default Service Records Query

A lady who was in the British army during the war wishes to obtain copies of her service records. To whom should she apply ? Thanks in advance.

    Default Army service records

    Hello Hugh,

Army service records are held by Service Number, Rank, Full Name, Date of Birth. It is important that as much of this information as possible is provided, together with the Regiment or Corps if known, to assist in locating the correct record. The following address should be used for ex-soldiers wishing to access their personal records

    Army Personnel Centre,
    Disclosure 2,
    Mail Point 515,
    Kentigern House,
    65 Brown Street,
    Glasgow G2 8EX
    SCOTLAND

    Tel: 0845 600 9663

This information was taken from the Army Veterans site: http://www.veterans-uk.info/service_records/army.html
