    Henk,

    Re: D - Killed in action: Sgt (W.Op./Air Gnr.) Richard W. WILSON - 1108674 - 214 Sqn.

    16-7-1942
    No.214 Sqn.

Operation 'Pandemonium'. Raid on Lubecker Flenderwerke AG at Herrenwyk, 4.5 miles north-east of Lubeck.

    3 Short Stirlings of 214 Sqn participated: BF318,R9141 & R9358.

'H'-Harry, of 214 Squadron broke cloud over Denmark and Sgt Flemming met intense flak which killed his front gunner.

'H'-Harry, was probably, BF318. (mentioned as such, on p.351 of quoted ref).

    See:
    The Short Stirling.

Reginald Kitchener age 32 registered in Warwick district, Warwickshire.
He is buried ande family was from Napton, that is in Warwickshire so I'd guess he is a DOAS

AC1 A E Townsend is DOAS in Sep 24th magazine of Flight.
