    Default Avro Tutor K3460

Above aircraft flown Thornaby to Chivenor via three other airfields on May 4, 1944, for "Delivery of a/c to A.C.A.L." Does anyone know the fate of the aircraft and what A.C.A.L. stood for?
    Thanks and regards:
    Robert

ACAL probably denoted Atlantic Coast Air Lines Ltd, Barnstable who were a civilian repair contractor, Tutors were among the types they handled.
K3460 was stuck off strength 12th May 1944 after service with Thornaby Station Flight.
