    Hi Eddie

Could be Ronald C Wilson promoted to Gp Capt (Temp) on 1 Jun 1942.

I have no other details on him at present.

    Hi Malcolm

That could make him Ronald Campbell Wilson RAAF whose file is unfortunately not open in NAA. He is shown as W/Cdr on discharge but with no decorations.

    Cheers

    Eddie,

Only two R C Wilsons in the Nov 1941 RAF AFL. One is a Wt Off and the other:

16185 Wilson, Ronald C, Wg Cdr dated 1.3.40

The Retired List in the Apr 1953 RAF AFL has:

    Wilson, R C, psa, born 15/5/05. First Comm. 30/7/25. G.C. 1/10/46. ret 15/5/52.

A check of the Feb 1928 RAF AFL (the earliest I have for the 1920s) shows a Fg Off (dated 30 Jan 27) Ronald Christopher Wilson

I'm fairly certain that all three entries relate to the one and the same man.

There is an R C Wilson in the 1975 Retired List but he was not commissioned until 1945. Not sign of the 1925 man, though, so may have died in the meantime.
