    Dear Norman,

Halifax V LK645 was shot down by a night-fighter (Feldwebel Anton Benning 8./JG300) and crashed 22.35 hrs. at Morsum NE Verden. S/L Turner went down with the a/c while Sgt Wray was found dead in a field near Schwarme. Wray was first buried without any rites in the local cemetery. After the War his body was exhumed and transferred to Hannover War Cemetery.

    Hope this helps!

    kind regards

    Steve
